RSVP for Childcare Here ~

KidCo

for ages 6 months to kindergarten

At MomCo's Friday meetings, we offer exceptional childcare to ensure you can fully engage in our supportive community. Our background-checked caregivers provide a safe and nurturing environment for your little ones, so you can enjoy meaningful connections and enriching discussions with fellow moms. Join us for a worry-free experience where both you and your children are well-cared for!

What to Expect: KidCo

At MomCo Liberty MO, we provide a non-denominational children's curriculum to guide our activities. Depending on their age, children will:

  • Engage in a craft activity

  • Rotate through different areas, including the classroom, music/video room, outdoor playground, and upstairs playroom

  • Enjoy a snack (usually goldfish crackers and water)

  • Play with toys provided in the preschool classrooms

For our older children, we include a short, age-appropriate Bible story video (about 5 minutes) followed by a 2-3 minute action music video to help them move and release their energy.

Be Prepared

When you signed up for MomCo, you should have completed a Google form with your child’s information. If you missed it, please fill out the form here.

It’s crucial for us to know your child’s birthdate, allergies, and any other relevant information to properly prepare and place them in the right room.

Label Everything. Please label all diaper bags and backpacks with your child’s name. If your child is in diapers or uses bottles, provide extra diapers, wipes, and formula (all clearly labeled) in their diaper bag.

Signups for childcare will be posted on Facebook and sent to you via text the Monday before each meeting. Please sign up by Wednesday to ensure we have enough childcare workers.

If your child is sick on the day of the meeting or if your plans change, please text Teresa, Head Mentor Mom, at 913-486-3017 or Malaya at 314-606-6686.

For everyone’s health and safety, please do not bring your child if they have a fever or seem unwell. We appreciate your help in preventing the spread of illness!

What to Expect: Drop Off

We understand separation anxiety is normal at this age. Our goal is to make drop-off as smooth as possible for both you and your child. The more frequently you attend, the more comfortable your child will become.

Childcare is located on level 3 at Second Baptist Church. Enter through the welcome center on Kansas St. and follow the signs, or use the childcare entrance on N Leonard St. (ramp and colorful birdhouse). Please note that the preschool entrance locks automatically at 10 am on meeting days.

Our Childcare Coordinator, Jillian, will greet you at the central desk. Jillian will check on the rooms throughout the meeting and communicate with Teresa if any questions or concerns arise.

Classrooms will be clearly marked by age group.

Tears are normal, especially if your child isn’t used to being away from you. Our experienced childcare workers are skilled at comforting and reassuring children.

We encourage children to stay in childcare for the entire meeting to benefit from peer interactions. This also helps your fellow moms, who are navigating similar challenges. If we cannot comfort your child, we will contact you.

Enjoy your meeting time, connecting with other moms and gaining valuable insights into motherhood. For questions or concerns, please reach out to Teresa at 913-486-3017 or email teresa@momcolibertymo.org.

Motherhood can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be lonely.
